Q: What pressure rating is required for condensing unit tubes?
For standard commercial refrigeration systems using R134a or R404A, the typical design pressure is 20–30 bar on the high side. Our standard TP2 copper tubes are rated well above these requirements. For CO2 transcritical systems which operate at up to 130 bar, we offer specially designed high-pressure tubes with increased wall thickness and enhanced material properties. Please specify your design pressure when inquiring.
Q: What material is suitable for CO2 refrigerant systems?
CO2 (R744) transcritical systems operate at extremely high pressures (up to 130 bar). For these applications, we recommend our heavy-wall TP2 copper tubes with enhanced wall thickness. Alternatively, stainless steel tubes may be required for the highest pressure stages. Kenergy can supply both copper and customized tube solutions for CO2 systems. Please consult our engineering team for a detailed material and wall thickness recommendation based on your specific operating conditions.
Q: Can you supply complete tube assemblies with bending and welding?
Yes, we offer comprehensive semi-finished processing including CNC tube bending, end forming (reducing, expanding, flaring), drilling, punching, and brazed joint welding.
