Condensing unit tubes are specially designed for small commercial refrigeration condensers used in supermarket freezers, display cabinets, ice makers, ice cream machines, and similar equipment. These applications demand compact tube geometry, reliable pressure resistance, and excellent formability into complex shapes.

Kenergy supplies high-precision small-diameter copper tubes with thin walls and tight tolerances. Beyond raw tube supply, we offer custom semi-finished processing services including tube bending, drilling, punching, swaging, flaring, and welding — allowing our customers to simplify their production lines and improve efficiency. Our tubes are compatible with R134a, R404A, R290, CO2, and other commercial refrigeration refrigerants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What pressure rating is required for condensing unit tubes?
For standard commercial refrigeration systems using R134a or R404A, the typical design pressure is 20–30 bar on the high side. Our standard TP2 copper tubes are rated well above these requirements. For CO2 transcritical systems which operate at up to 130 bar, we offer specially designed high-pressure tubes with increased wall thickness and enhanced material properties. Please specify your design pressure when inquiring.
Q: What material is suitable for CO2 refrigerant systems?
CO2 (R744) transcritical systems operate at extremely high pressures (up to 130 bar). For these applications, we recommend our heavy-wall TP2 copper tubes with enhanced wall thickness. Alternatively, stainless steel tubes may be required for the highest pressure stages. Kenergy can supply both copper and customized tube solutions for CO2 systems. Please consult our engineering team for a detailed material and wall thickness recommendation based on your specific operating conditions.
Q: Can you supply complete tube assemblies with bending and welding?
Yes, we offer comprehensive semi-finished processing including CNC tube bending, end forming (reducing, expanding, flaring), drilling, punching, and brazed joint welding. We can deliver complete tube sub-assemblies per your engineering drawings, ready for direct installation into your condensing units. This service helps reduce your in-house fabrication costs and quality control burden. Please share your drawings with our team for a feasibility review and quotation.
Q: Do you accept small batch custom orders?
Yes, we welcome small batch orders for custom specifications. For standard tube sizes, our minimum order quantity is as low as 100kg. For custom semi-finished parts with bending, welding, or other processing, the MOQ depends on the complexity of the processing and setup requirements. Sample quantities (under 10 pieces) are available for qualification purposes. Contact our sales team with your requirements for a specific MOQ quotation.
